Les versions extended, originellement issues de l’album « Better Worlds » , des tracks « Clapping », « The Shaker », « Like This » et la version de « Catch The Looks » précedemment reprise par Dilemn, sont des édits spécialement conçus à l’attention des DJs, pour cet Ep disponible dès le 7 Mars 2011. Smurfie Syco (dernier poulain du label de Dizzee Rascal, Dirtee Stank) reprend les rênes avec Dilemn pour le remix de Dyebox « Catch The Looks », tuerie vocale et véritable boisson énergétique, qui ne manquera pas de s’imprimer dans votre sub-conscient.
« Like This » est sans doute le track le plus électro-détonnant de l’Ep, un patchwork de samples remixable à foison. D’un autre côté, « Clapping » est léger et rebondissant, bardé de sonorités funk et enlaçant aussi bien des synthés 70’s analogiques que des rifs de talk box. « The Shaker », est comme son nom l’indique, un véritable tremblement de terre et de l’air pour les oreilles.
Une semaine avant la sortie officielle de l’album « Better Worlds », l’Ep de rêve pour les DJs, « Extended Worlds » sera disponible, la cerise vient donc avant le gâteau chez Boxon Rec !
Lorsque Tom Moulton invente la version extended dans les années soixante-dix, il ne se doute sûrement pas qu’aujourd’hui, soit quarante ans après, ces titres, destinés à être samplés pleuvent dans les charts…
Mondes étendus ou univers prolongés ? D’après une traduction littérale de « Extended Worlds », le nouvel Ep de Dilemn connote une certaine notion d’infini, d’au-delà de cette musique cosmique, qui annonce que l’aventure n’est pas près de se terminer…

The extended versions – originally from the album « Better Worlds » – of the tracks « Clapping », « The Shaker », « Like This » and the version of « Catch The Looks » taken over by Dilemn, are specially designed to edicts the DJs, for this Ep available on March 7, 2011. Smurfie Syco (last foal of Dizzee Rascal‘s label, Dirtee Stank) takes the reins with Dilemn for the Dyebox‘s remix of « Catch The Looks », the voices are killing in the name of music; and so the song is a real energy drink, which will surely be imprinted in your subconscious.
« Like This » track is probably the most electro-explosive song of the Ep, a patchwork of samples remixable ever and ever. On the other hand, « Clapping » is light and bouncy, loaded with funky sounds and embracing as well analog 70’s synth as talk box riffs. « The Shaker », last but not least, is as its name is suggesting, a real earthquake for the ears.
The DJ’s dreamy Ep, « Extended Worlds » will be available a week before the official release of the album « Better Worlds », because at Boxon Rec the cherry comes before the cake !
When Tom Moulton invented the extended version in the seventies, he has no idea that today, forty years later, these titles are teeming the charts…
Extended worlds or prolonged universes ? According to a literal translation of « Extended Worlds », the Dilemn‘s new Ep connotes a certain notion of infinity, of after-life for this cosmic music, which announces that the adventure is not nearly complete…
